This year, already for the second time SoftwareMill organized the international conference about agile – AgileByExample.

And here are some thoughts that we want to share with you.

AgileByExample 2012 – organizer’s thoughts

From our point of view, as we love to talk about and listen about agile the event is one of the greatest times in the year.

After the conference, we are usually so inspired and full of energy, that we implement the main takings as fast as possible. This year was just the same and we’ve already tried:

  • gamifying our daily Scrums for one week
  • using storytelling during one of the Scrums
  • running a personal feedback process
  • playing games about agile during our monthly meet-up
  • running a very unconventional retro

We will try some more and keep you posted about the results and our experiences.

And actually, you can do just the same, as all the slides are available at the Speakers page.

So remind yourself or find the main takings from the conference and try some new approach to agile!

Here is the TOP 3 presentations chosen by the attendees:

1. Growing effective-teams-80min-withextras  from Roy Osherove

2. Monika Konieczny with Gamified Retrospective

3. Self-Organisation and its influence on the organisational reality.  from Marcin Czenko
