You can see it appearing in various media, more or less precisely presenting its use and purpose. Maciej Adamiak, an expert in this field and recent CEO of ReasonField Lab, had the opportunity to chat with Michał Dulemba from Nieliniowy podcast about how to talk about Machine Learning adequately.

During this conversation, Maciek covered several topics, such as:

  • explaining the distinctions between ML and "dev" to others,
  • conducting ML workshops effectively,
  • discussing whether the term "outspoken data scientist" is an oxymoron,
  • "AI for good" projects related to geographical aspects,
  • considering if building an ML team of experienced programmers is a wise decision, and managing the challenges of switching between contexts/projects while dealing with human limitations (like "single-threading").

He also shared how the motivational system for publishing and speaking at SoftwareMill operates and explained exciting possibilities at the intersection of geography and ML based on his experience.

Note that this conversation is in Polish.
